May 2008 Family Reunion Letter
Greetings family members of the Bolden, Scruggs, Searcy, Tucker and Morris lines:
We hope that this letter finds you well and greatly anticipating our next family get-together in 2009.
As it was announced last year at the reunion in Norwalk, Conn., our next gathering will be held in the
Detroit, Mich., area.
You may recall that our reunions have historically been held on the last weekend in July. Next year’s
event will be no different; so, please mark your calendars for July 26-28, 2009. The Detroit metro area has many
amenities and entertainment options available, and the 2009 Reunion Committee is excited about the possibilities that
this weekend holds. Any opportunity for us to fellowship as an extended family is a blessing; but the committee is
especially looking forward to having a wonderful time in Motown!....More

Hello Siblings,
Thank you all so much for your timely response in sending your financial obligations so that we can move forward with
our final stage in planning our second sibling reunion.
We are blessed as well as fortunate to have a family that truly honors their time together. Many people can’t understand
our philosophy of laughter, fun and just being in each others company, building our relationships and creating an
environment that’s pleasant and real; so I say, let’s keep doing what we’re doing…….
